AGCO Breganze is looking for a Project Engineer to work on the development of combines in the crop processing area with a successful track record in project management, problem solving and design with technical expertise.

The Mechanical Engineer designs and develops moderately complex structures and sheet metal for release to production in a manner to ensure superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability.
Design Responsibilities Include :
Creating new product designs for fabricated structures;
Developing load cases and completing finite element analysis;
Creating lab and field validation plan;
Creating drawings and other technical documentation;
Create and complete Engineering Change Release process in EPDM (Preferable Windchill experience);
Following established manufacturing practices while meeting cost targets.
Project Management Responsibilities Include :
Conducting design reviews with cross functional teams (Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Service);
Managing project tasks with colleagues from Engineering or other functions;
Preparing development plans, maintaining schedules, and meeting budget requirements;
Conducting technical evaluation of competitive products;
Directing product validation / test activity on current and prototype designs;
Evaluating, defining and resolving design and manufacturing problems;
Develop, communicate, and manage supplier requirements.
Education / Experience :
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering as a minimum;
3-5 years in engineering assignments;
Fluent English and Italian language;
Must be proficient with solid modeling software with ProE being preferred;
Requires proficiency with MS Office tools;
Agriculture machinery and equipment background required;
Experience with sheet metal and fabricated steel structures;
Experience with the design and development of welded and bolted structures and mechanical linkages (mechanism);
Knowledge on design of sheaves, belts, bearings selection and specification is an strong advantage;
Understanding of finite element analysis is preferred;
capable in DEM and CFD requirements creation and results reading; Experience with drawing layouts and GD&T methodology;
Knowledge of crop flow is a strong advantage.
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex engineering and manufacturing concepts;
Ability to work in an international team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude;
Problem solving skills also in an operational matter; Availability for field test activities, including investigating concerns and effectively identifying resolutions and reporting results.
