Scope and Purpose

Scope of the work will include, inter alia :

Market the Intesa Sanpaolo Rating and Debt Advisory Capabilities to our corporate, fig and ssa clients around the world, originate Rating mandates both first time as well as maintenance of existing ratings, support the DCM team in the production of content in DCM pitches in terms of Rating Analysis, pro forma rating scenarios.

Conduct Debt and capital structure analysis, ESG rating analysis for our clients, with particular emphasis on Hybrid Capital and Liability management..

Maintain constant contact with the major rating agencies to discuss transactions, innovation in rating technology, sector and corporate views, changes and evolution of their methodologies

Support the rating advisory process, including preparing spreadsheets, comparative statistics, graphs, tables, recovery analysis etc.

Review financial statements, use financial models, and apply Rating Agencies main methodologies with limited guidance of senior members of the Rating Advisory Team

Perform credit analysis on a company and sector basis under guidance of senior members of the Rating Advisory Team in order to produce internal credit rating estimates

Produce Rating Books or other material relating to rating advisory activity under the guidance of senior members of the Rating Advisory Team

Perform administrative tasks such as, update of watching list, etc.

Purpose :

Being the front person on rating and debt advisory mandates, with our clients, and support activities required by DCM Origination teams.

For the successful candidate this represents an opportunity to utilize its experience of rating and debt advisory whilst gaining extensive knowledge about the origination and execution of a variety of debt products.

Required Experience

At least 6 years experience in a Major Rating Agency or on a Rating or Debt / Capital Advisory team of an investment bank is essential

Competencies Required

The successful candidate will have both enhanced accounting knowledge and solid understanding of credit analysis techniques.

Debt capital market instruments knowledge is considered important.

Profound knowledge of Hybrid capital methodologies and Liability Management considered very important.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business administration, Economics, Finance or related field

Strong proficiency in Office mainly PowerPoint and Excel (with the ability to use financial models)
