This role works closely with IT Leaders, Project Managers, Project Sponsors, Business Analyst, Finance and all other stakeholders to continually apply project execution methodologies and ensure IT and Business financial investments are appropriately prioritized and managed successfully.
This role will be responsible for leading and execute end to end IT projects in manufacturing and maintenance solutions area, across PSG EU sites.
A Bachelor's degree, or 4 years significant Project Management experience in related area with a High School diploma.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Four years project management and team leadership experience with proven track record in successfully leading projects from start to finish
Ability to manage multiple projects and interface effectively with team members and across multiple departments & regions / countries
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
May be called upon for occasional overnight business travel to other Thermo Fisher Scientific operating sites travel is estimated to be more or less 15%

Advanced knowledge in creating and maintaining management level and detailed project plans utilizing specific products
Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Conduct project closeouts and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Maintain extensive knowledge and expertise in project management disciplines, as well as multiple business processes and / or technical areas
Present regularly to leadership on success of projects and program initiatives
Mentor other project teams on agile / scrum methodology
Work with other Thermo Fisher team members to spread project management standards, disciplines and rigor
English : excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
