Role Summary :

The Senior Financial reportingManager will manage the Consolidation and Reporting process for TPS segment.

Essential Responsibilities : In addition, the candidate will :

  • Interact regularly with Product lines, Global FinanceCenters, Regions and BHGE Corporate
  • Beresponsible for coordination, consolidation and submission of the segmentFinancial results
  • Beresponsible for balance sheet and cash flow analysis for the segment
  • ManageIntercompany reporting process DTDF, Loans & Borrowings, Investments,Current Accounts, IBS, etc.
  • Supportof ERP implementations - ensuring reporting consistency
  • Supportvarious simplification initiatives across the total business; EnterpriseStandards, Company Codes reductions, Chart of accounts usage / guidance
  • Actas lead contact for the segment in regard to review, approval and execution ofvarious Cross Business Schedules
  • Supportaccount reconciliation process, ensure compliance with account reconciliationcriteria, driving simplification, analysis and quality
  • Workwith Baker Hughes Financial Reporting Leader to develop a world classConsolidation & reporting team
  • Ensurekey processes and controls are in place to support a world class financialclosing operation
  • Supportbusiness development with integration / disposition activities
  • Participatein the compilation of the Pre-Close package, Key Accounts Review and Closingpackage
  • Support ad-hoc requests from the segment Global Controller
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimumof 7 years of Accounting experience
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Prior experience with Consolidations and Reporting
  • Abilityto work in matrix organization
  • Abilityto manage and direct staff
  • CertifiedPublic Accountant or Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Abilityto anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Strongoral and written communication skills
  • Stronginterpersonal and leadership skills
  • PCproficiency
  • Prior working knowledge with SAP, Oracle and HFM
