Job Summary

The Digital Sales Head is responsible for the business development, relationship management and business management of key digital partners and MoneyGram’s own online channels across the region.

The incumbent will be required to work closely with internal stakeholders, in driving the design, build, deployment and success of MoneyGram’s own digital channels as well as key partner digital channels across the broad region.

This focus includes working with key stakeholders to manage customer proposition design, consumer experience, customer life cycle, ongoing channel growth post launch, and overall P&L contribution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Creates comprehensive strategies to identify and build alliances with Digital partners across the broad region based on the overarching corporate strategies and owns the strategic management of the relationships with key strategic partners.
  • Works on launching and driving success of MoneyGram’s own online solution across key markets.
  • Takes full ownership of initiative including pre-launch, launch, and meeting and exceeding revenue and customer targets.
  • Defines the scope, size, viability and the prioritization of the partner opportunity and the consumer proposition with the necessary internal stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the product and marketing team to ensure that we manage the customer proposition, life cycle and growth of the Digital channels.
  • Align digital strategy with revenue channel leader in Europe and work closely together on potential partnerships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Masters preferred
  • Experience

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • 2+ years of international payments industry experience.
  • 3+ years managing digital business / product for international markets.
  • Essential Skills

  • Experience in a building and managing a digital business. Including understating of all aspects like legal, compliance and customer lifecycle management and cost control to make this business successful.
  • Previous experience within the payment / retail financial services sector in a digital environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to build cross-functional cooperation and strong working relationships between business functions.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, strategic cross-organization projects including defining solutions, setting and meeting timelines, and leading teams through change.
  • Strong ability to create credible business cases.
  • Excellent communication and skills (i.e. manage stakeholders at all levels verbally and through documentation, (PowerPoint presentation, effective interpersonal skills etc.).
  • Attention to detail, focused and solution driven with the willingness and ability to implement innovative ideas and improve working methodologies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience of influencing stakeholders at a senior level and effectively manage their expectations.
  • Ability to assimilate market changes and be a MoneyGram advocate in industry digital forums.
  • Experience in digital channel growth will be a plus.
