Based at either Thorpe Park in Surrey, or Basingstoke

Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for an HR Data Administrator to join us on a 3-6 month fixed term basis, with the potential to go to a permanent contract in the future , based at either Thorpe Park or our Merlin Hub inBasingstoke.

Reporting into the Employee SystemsProduct Manager, you will helpdrive adoption and optimisation of our HR system, providing daily support andtraining to end users and resolving identified issues in a timely and agreedmanner.

Working with SystemAnalysts, you will assess and implement requests for system changes and providesupport in configuring the solution for any new attractions.

Key objectives include..

  • Ensure tickets raised are responded to within agreed SLA.
  • Resolve issues within agreed SLA, escalating more challenging issues quickly and keeping end users informed.
  • Ensure users guides are maintained and available to all super users. Updating guides based on feedback received from end users.
  • Train all new Superusers to ensure the system is being used correctly and to full capacity.
  • Act as the focal point for questions on how the solution should be used.
  • Actively seek feedback from users to inform future enhancements and developments.
  • About you

  • Ideally you will have a knowledge of HR processes having worked previously with HR systems.
  • Practical knowledge of configuring an IT System or a desire to acquire that knowledge.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and under pressure.
  • Ability to problem solve including strong use of initiative.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within the confines of the processes that have been agreed.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision - though support is readily available.
  • Experience of delivering global best practice within a de-centralised organisation.
