PRIMARY FUNCTION :
The candidate will operate in the CNHi - Product development Electronic Systems Vehicle Electronic (VE) group.
He / She will develop and define primarily electronic systems for vehicle systems (e.g. powertrain, hydraulics etc) and deliver formal Systems Requirements & Specifications.
He / She will also define electronic functionalities in terms of feasibility, HW requirements (sensors, actuators, ...), main SW requirements, specifications and system performances.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Define the requirements and definitions for control systems and develop specifications and SW functionalities.
Help define Electrical systems architecture.
Assess Safety of controlled systems (in line with Homologation / Directives / Liability Laws).
Interface with other PD Teams.
Understanding electrical system components and complexity (Sub-Assembly groups, BOM, standardization, optimization of options).
Produce System Diagrams.
Provide System specifications.
System development including applying iterations according the V-model for development.
System Validation Specifications and test plan definition support.
Standardize Systems and Functions among different vehicle platforms.
Breakdown concept definition in line with Product Marketing / Manufacturability needs.
Coordinate activities with Purchasing and Suppliers in line with the component development responsible.
Development planning in line with GPD process (Priorities, milestones, prototype definition, ).
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Required Qualifications :
Master’s Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic Systems Engineering.
1-3 years of experience in system EE engineering (By preference Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering experience).
Knowledge of CAN based integration of systems, on road and off-road vehicle architectures.
Solid Experience in Electronic Systems development.
Skilled in formal Electronic System development processes.
Ability to work with tight deadline and under pressure.
Ability to apply specialized competency and skills between different products and swap work context quickly.
Ability to work transversally with different teams and interface easily with other engineering (mechanical) disciplines.
Input / Output interface definition with Electronic control unit.
Significant Problem-Solving experience.
Good communication and personal organization / control skills.
Language : English; level : very fluent / +++.
Willing to Travel (5%).
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Matlab and latest generation software development methods and approaches.
Knowledge of Virtual prototyping / MIL / SIL / HIL principles and automatic code generation.
Knowledge on programming C code, and structured software programming.
Knowledge of automotive safety norms (ISO 26262 or preferred ISO25119).
Knowledge of hydraulic schematics comprehension.
Knowledge of SW tools : Canalyzer, Canoe, Etas INCA,
Knowledge of the agricultural products and related designs.
Knowledge of wiring harness design.
