JOB PURPOSE / ROLE

The Compliance function is responsible for developing, publishing and

monitoring the implementation of group-wide requirements mitigating

compliance risks and advising and training operating units of the

Allianz Group in the areas of anti-money laundering, corruption,

bribery, fraud, antitrust, customer protection, market integrity and

economic sanctions .

As Compliance Control and Review Officer, you will be located in the

Allianz SE Branch in Italy and interact extensively with the teams in

Munich and in OEs around the globe.

The mission of Compliance related to Risk & Controls are :

  • to define and implement a consistent compliance risk assessment
  • framework;
  • to ensure consistent definition, implementation and maintenance of key
  • compliance controls;
  • to ensure and monitor via periodic risk-based controls and reviews
  • adherence of Allianz Operating Entities towards applicable internal and

    external policies, processes, standards and laws & regulations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the definition, implementation and maintenance of
  • standardized and consistent key Compliance controls.

  • Assist in the set-up of a catalogue of key Compliance controls.
  • Contribute to the annual Compliance Risk & Maturity Assessment.
  • Perform Compliance Review focusing on tests of design and of
  • effectiveness.

  • Analysis and generation of feasible recommendation for improvement of
  • Compliance organizations and processes based upon controls and review

    activities.

  • Explicit and precise communication of deficiencies and recommendations
  • for remediation.

  • Follow-up of finding recommendations and communication with
  • responsible counterparties.

  • Contribute to more effectively and efficiently evaluate, monitor and
  • report Compliance risks and controls.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in business-related field (e.g. Finance, Insurance,
  • Business Administration / Economics).

  • 2+ years of experience in the Financial Service Industry (Insurance,
  • Banking is a plus) in finance, compliance, risk management, internal

    controls, external or internal audit or as consultant.

  • Strong analytical, communication, intercultural, social and
  • organizational skills.

  • Taking ownership, actively seeking and volunteering for new
  • challenges; strong team spirit and value-add driven mindset; establish

    and maintain constructive working relationships.

  • Deadline-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Intellectual curiosity and readiness to learn.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal, any additional language
  • will be an advantage.

  • Availability to travel up to 20%
