Reporting to the local CS&M leader, the key function of this role is :

  • to implement the digital & communication plans delivered by the Regional Delivery Team to optimize the execution in the local market.
  • To develop and execute the social media strategy for Goldwell, KMS, ORIBE and VARIS across paid, owned and earned media.
  • Work in conjunction with Brand Manager and local SoMe agency to develop lead strategy to help our Sales Force to expand horizontal distribution.
  • To Enable the up-to-date status of all Social Media channels (Institutional Website, Webshop, Local FB an IG pages, Youtube playlist).
  • Being the digital SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Regional team in order to give local feedback and collect input from Region to ensure the adoption in the Italian market.

    In cooperation with Italian Sales Team, this role will be accountable for the local implementation of the commercial sections within the regional initiative toolboxes, alongside delivering specific local market and customer activity to drive top line and bottom line growth.

    Collaborating with the Regional Delivery CS&M team, the person in this role will identify and will ease the execution by Italian sales team of a proper customized calendar for E-Commerce players.

    This role will rely on close collaboration with the local sales team to develop and deliver individual customer Joint Business Plans across top-tier E-Commerce partners by providing the right assets for each player and monitoring the outcome.

    What you will do :

  • Develop and execute the Italian Communication & Social Media strategy for Goldwell, KMS, VARIS and Oribe in line with Regional / Global guidance.
  • In particular being the coordinator between Local market, External Local SoMe agency and Regional / Global teams. Have accountability for paid media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube to align with marketing calendar and social trends on a local-wide basis.

    Analyze reporting to deepen and strengthen the effectiveness of the paid media strategy.

  • Develop and execute the communication via PR and social media strategy for Goldwell, KMS and VARIS across paid, owned and earned media.
  • Work in conjunction with Brand Manager and local SoMe agency to develop lead strategy to help our Sales Force to expand horizontal distribution.

    Enable the up-to-date status of all Social Media channels (Institutional Website, Local FB an IG pages, Youtube) managing the external SoMe agency and the internal support service.

    Being the SPOC for Regional team in order to give local feedback and collect input from Region to ensure the adoption in the Italian market.

  • Aligned with the Italian Annual Masterplan, launch, manage and publish social media initiatives on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other emerging technologies (Salogram).
  • Engage social media community daily, or whatever frequency is appropriate, across owned media platforms, demonstrating a 24 / 7 approach to responsibilities.

    Work in conjunction with the internal teams (Sales & Education) to create engaging and fresh strategies for existing social media outlets, and thoughtfully expand the Goldwell brand's social media ecosystem.

    Strategically partner with like-minded brands to grow social audience, engagement and share of voice.

  • Support Sales Team to prepare and share assets with e-commerce players. Participate in the creation and monitoring of activities with e-commerce players in compliance with the Joint Business Plan.
  • Being the Webshop Single Point Of Contact, participate to update meeting and ensure the readiness for every single new initiative.
  • Create and maintain content calendar to ensure communication aligns with brand and business priorities. Brief Local / Regional / Global on creative content needs (photography, video, graphic design, etc.

    and develop or curate content as requested to enable a proper update on SoMe including e-commerce partner. Distribute digital and social media assets to teams as appropriate.

  • Daily monitoring of analytics across all platforms as directed. Monitor competitor activity and engagement and share information local and Regional teams needed.
  • Manage the Local digital / social marketing budget, working within set parameters and maximizing ROI.

  • Participation in the Regional share and reapply process across markets to ensure the use of best practices throughout the world.
  • This includes connecting with counterparts in other Regions and actively sourcing best practices to identify synergies, deliver business growth and avoid duplication of work.

    Contribute positively to wider KAO Italy process and capability development.

    What you will need :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4-6 years experience in Digital & Communication management (Social Media, Website, e-retail) in Professional Beauty / Luxury / Retail
  • Experience managing or working for Digital agencies or for Pure Play Digital Retailers / e-commerce retailers
  • Preferred experience in multi-functional teams and managing a brand / business with P&L accountability
  • Influence - Envision and influence the local organization on Digital Marketing & Communication and executing deployed plans with excellence with robust tracking.
  • Collaboration & Leveraging Multi-Functional Resources - working across functions within the local market Delivery teams to coordinate efforts and tools to deliver against identified priorities
  • Customer strategic alignment / execution - ability to make choices on key projects which will have the highest potential for business return, especially as it relates to NPD choices.
  • Communication - ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, clear priorities and progress tied to business results in common format across geographies
  • Strategic Thinking - ability to analyze, understand core areas of opportunity and develop holistic plans to execute change and bring about improved performance / results
  • Systems - comprehensive knowledge of business intelligence software and Excel are required
  • Mastery - expertise in Digital Marketing skills managing all the available platforms (websites, social media pages, youtube playlists and CSM), and supporting the E-commerce players providing the right assets
