We are currently looking for a data scientist to join our office in Milan.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a data scientist to join our strategy & analytics team, which is responsible for providing analytical support and data analysis across all agency clients.

The data scientist is a passionate guru about finding insights in large dataset and contribute for the delivery of agency projects following our specific positioning tools set.

The selected person will hierarchically report to Cultural Insight & Analytics Manager and to Strategy Director.

Tasks would involve :

  • Operational management and evolution of a global proprietary analytics suite.
  • Programming and development of technology for the automation and optimization of the data analysis and data visualization.
  • Ability to collect data from all kinds of different sources (online web APIs - and offline), to internal databases.
  • Create data visualizations that communicate your findings in a dynamic way.
  • Supporting in new business and product development projects.
  • Manages small to medium-sized assigned projects or phases of a larger projects, with minimal supervision.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in English and Italian in writing and speaking
  • Bachelor's degree or above (ideal areas of study / related study include : Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, Economics & Marketing, but all others considered).
  • Ability to work with big data and thinking out of the box, creating value and impact for the business
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Broader knowledge of econometrics, including a POV on methodology approach
  • Ability to manipulate data via analysis packages and coding (SQL, Python, R, Spark is preferable)
  • Familiar with media industry and marketing concepts
  • A growing understanding of the interconnectivity of data sources for example from DMPs through to online panel providers ideal
  • Keen curiosity to understand the relationships and opportunities across audiences, brands, communications
  • Comfortable developing presentations using insights derived from multiple intelligence sources.
