Now we are looking for a Technical Product Manager to be co-located at a customer’s site based in Switzerland, who, among other things, will have the opportunity to :

Work closely with the Director of a Business Unit to define market and product requirements and provide voice of the market and customer to the design & engineering teams.
Actively identify and assess new product opportunities and initiatives for customer designs and technology scouting opportunities.
Support technical sessions to showcase Flex proof-of-concept fast prototyped demonstration units Facilitate the definition of technology roadmaps with the customer and Flex innovation team.
Work closely with a technology engineering team to extract and develop core product features-advantages-benefits information to drive and support the product marketing strategy.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do...
Teamwork with BU director, design and engineering team, supply chain, Flex customers and channel partners to identify requirements for a strong technology / product offering and to execute the innovation development strategy.
Lead internal and customer focus groups to discuss functional capabilities, usability, and clarify design requirements and issues.
Support the scouting and comparison of different product architectures, analysing options from a hardware, software and mechanical standpoint.
Promote and identify new solutions by leveraging state-of-the-art building blocks known to Flex.
Drive the definition of a technology roadmap, assigning priorities and addressing technology gaps with ad-hoc programs negotiated with the customer.
Develop and maintain market knowledge on competitive technology / products, industries, and trends. Monitor and keep updated roadmaps from component vendors and identifies deep dive actions on relevant areas, to support specific product features needed in the long term.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)
Bachelor’s degree with business / management, technology, engineering, or scientific emphasis MS or MBA is preferred.
5 to 8 years of experience in product management or related product experience such as system engineering roles.
Professionally fluent in English oral and written communications.
Strong interest in and knowledge of electromechanical consumer products, Internet of Things (IoT) components and connecting technologies.
Demonstrated track record of full product lifecycle exposure, from requirement definition, system architecture, technology scouting, prototyping & verification, down to mass production release.
Experience performing data-driven market analysis and building business cases to support product strategy.
