Hermes Italie was born in 1987 with the first store in Milan, 21 via Sant'Andrea. Since then the branch was opened and the continuous growth lead to the current retail presence in the country : 11 stores, including 2 seasonal openings and 2 flagship stores, located in Milan and Rome.

General Role

The intern will be assigned to the HR department where he / she gain some valuable HR experience while contributing to and supporting Hermès Italie workforce.

In particular, the intern will be involved in the following activities :

Main responsibilities

Recruitment and hiring :

  • Create and publish job advertisement
  • Screen applications, contact suitable profiles and organize interviews
  • Carry out phone / video interviews and participate in face-to-face interviews
  • Manage the HR database and related reporting activities, tracking down the recruiting data and each of the hiring process step
  • Contact and manage relationships with Education institutions, Universities and Headhunters
  • Administration :

  • Record and maintain attendance records
  • Prepare all employment contracts and Internship Agreements
  • Maintain an up-to date and accurate staff records and filing system
  • Organization, Development and Training :

  • Create, verify and update job descriptions according to professional profiles required within the Company
  • Organize training sessions, including operational aspects such as transfers, hotel reservations, catering and the prepartion of all the documents and materials needed
  • Update internal database regarding the Training program and related reporting activities
  • Update monthly the Company organization chart
  • Support in managing the training sessions focused on Health& Safety
  • Assist in any ad hoc projects based on the needs of the Human Resources Department
  • Profile

  • Graduate in Psychology / Languages / Economics / fashion / luxury (an HR Master / Specialization will represent a plus)
  • Proficient with Excel / IT tools
  • Fluent in both Italian and English
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the fashion industry
  • Very organized, rigorous and reliable, proactive and able to organize his / her work autonomously
  • Very strong ethics and integrity
