Position Summary :
Responsible for design, development, testing and releasing High Voltage Components connected to battery or Fuel cell vehicles, working with a dedicated Electrical Component Team.
Main Tasks :
Develop and management of HV electrical components
Manage and release Vehicle component function
Evaluation, assessment and recommendations for robustness levels of design, within specified standards
Develop and maintain component level specification
Define test plans and validation requirements and reporting
Define technology roadmaps
Interact with suppliers and internal groups daily to communicate any technical issues that arise with components that are owned by the electrical department
Assist in resolving any technical inquiries relating to supplied components by the electrical department
Requirements for the position :
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field
3 year’s experience with battery-electric, fuel-cell electric, and or electric hybrid vehicles
Familiarity with electric vehicle high voltage components such as onboard chargers, DCDC
converters, inverters, motors, AC compressors, heaters, and batteries.
Familiar with LIN CAN / CAN-FD protocols
English level : upper-intermediate (English test B2 First Certificate)
Familiarity with the ISO26262 design process.
Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage and correspond with global network of teams, colleagues and interfaces
