In our Electrification Business Area we are looking for a Material Planner, who will ensure, for the assigned perimeter, in compliance with the company’s guidelines and procedures the correct planning of products requirements and refilling orders, pursuing company main targets as customer service and inventory level.

Your responsibilities
Ensure service level for customer. Manage urgencies to guarantee timely deliveries. Minimize late backlog, determining its root causes and eliminating them.
Ensure the right inventory level is maintained, minimizing it according to the company’s target while guaranteeing customer service level.
Ensure inventory is compliant with company guidelines.
Ensure the achievement of target for customer service level while keeping under the target for stock inventory value and overseeing availability of material to achieve sales plan in Southern Europe region.
Ensure the planning and procurement of material from Feeder Factories; drive regular discussion with FFs on inbound issues, planning parameters, reverse logistics, OTD;
ensure the definition and implementation of management procedures.
Collaborates to preparation and validates proper Sales and Operations Plan (SOP), according to budget, forecast and management input.
Ensure proper phase in phase out of products under GPG / LSO / FF input, preventing obsolescence.
Supervise all tactical and transactional purchasing activities including related periodical master data maintenance (planning bill, material master data, stock management policies per item, forecast to suppliers, etc.
adjusting planning parameters and replenishment plans according to demand.
Validate Purchase Order Requisitions or Purchase Orders according to Release Strategy and Table of Authorities; control the quality of the 3PL inventory data and validates any correction made from their side.
Ensure periodical master data maintenance (planning bill, master data, stock management policies per item, forecast to FFs) adjusting planning parameter and replenishment plan according to demand;
develop effective relationships with RDC Southern Europe Team (especially Customer Service) and suppliers (FFs).
Your background
University degree preferably in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent
3-4 years’ experience (Planning experience or Logistics)
Strong knowledge of Planning and Logistics processes and methodologies
Strong knowledge of SAP (especially MM), preferably key-user level
Fluent spoken and written English
Analytical and problem solving capabilities
Stress-tolerant, good communication skills, intercultural understanding, ability to develop partnership relation with FFs and Customer Service, work well in Team structure, results-oriented
