Responsibilities

  • Deliveragainst a revenue and incremental booking target through cross sell and upsellof Akamai’s extensive product portfolio.
  • Work withextended Akamai team to create and deliver customer business reviews.
  • Provideaccount planning to identify risks and opportunities across your install base.
  • Generateleads
  • Demonstratesales forecasting excellence.

    Required Education and Experience :

    Applicants must meetone of the following education and experience requirements :

  • Relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • Desired Skills :

  • ProvenTrack Record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quotas through direct andindirect field sales.
  • Experience in an inside sales representative prospecting role orcustomer facing roles, ideally within IT.
  • Highethics, integrity, and personal drive.
  • Strongknowledge of Internet and telecommunications concepts and demonstrate theability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
  • Formalsales training and understanding of : Solution-Selling and / or Value Sellingtraining or other metrologies.
  • Ideal candidateswill bring with them a range of Internet industry-related contacts.
  • Strongbackground in Internet infrastructure and / or enterprise solution softwarerequired.
  • Strongand self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with Director level and C-Levelcontacts
  • Provenexperience of being persuasive, influential and professional on the phone
  • Strongskills in identifying opportunities
