Responsibility to provide and coordinate support to the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Underwriting Teams in the handling of insurance and reinsurance business for corporations and / or their captives.
Duties and responsibilities directly impact productivity, process efficiency, timeliness, profitability and accuracy of the underwriting process.
Position might require some travel for business meetings, project participation or training. Support will be provided for Associates and Underwriters based in Genoa, Paris and Zurich.

Tasks typically are Client and Business directed and are under direct supervision
Position Scope Data :
Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new processes and guidelines, learn new skills, and stay updated with the team supported.
Core Responsibilities :
High level of interaction and coordination with team members.
Enter and maintain information in systems and tools, including documents, process changes and associated open / completed tasks
Create and maintain electronic records and hard copies if required following established guidelines and processes
Regularly interact with external customers
Interact with on-shore / off-shore staff and handle document processing for teams supported, as appropriate
Additional Responsibilities :
Conduct initial deal analysis and prepare applicable account data
Support teams in organizing and preparing data for client meetings
Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors, and initiate correction while following-
up with customer or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.
Follow-up on outstanding documents or items, per guidelines
Perform assigned rule-based tasks following standard operating procedures
Associates / Bachelor's Degree or certificate preferred
Relevant job experience a plus
Relevant professional experience :
Knowledge and understanding of Re- / Insurance business
Excellent communication skills (reading, written and verbal)
Proficient in Italian and English. French is a plus
Additional languages of relevant markets are desirable
Technical Competencies for this Job :
Demonstrates profound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Package (Special focus on Excel)
Demonstrates competency in : intermediate level math administrative and clerical procedures and general economic / accounting principles
Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while establishing priorities; ability to handle multiple tasks in a rapidly evolving environment
Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify and report problems or errors while working with significant amounts of detailed information
