YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a brilliant candidate as Nutritional Category Leader. For the Nutritional Category, she / he will be responsible for the development and penetration in the Local market with a short, mid and long - term perspective.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the position :
guarantee to align the local Category strategy to the Global / Regional Category Strategy for Global Brands while defining a Local Strategy for Local Brands by analyzing the markets, identifying the targets, working on the consumer’s insights, providing competition analysis, assess the brands assigned capabilities, contributing and leveraging international projects, incorporating all aspects of the Global processes / tools;
proper management of the assigned Portfolio, defining the integrated communication with online / offline media and territorial activation, price and channel strategies, anticipating competitors’ activities, developing new consumers insights, contributing to the innovation at 360 in order to maximize the ROI and creating a competitive edge in the short, mid and long term by evaluating new launches, new communication, new online / offline media and channel strategies.
Management of Creative agencies;
guarantee activation plans that integrate marketing excellence and customer excellence approach by aligning and coordinating with other functions (eg.
Sales&Trade, Legal Medical Regulatory, Supply Chain) by supporting the field force and leveraging their feedbacks to generate improvements, by monitoring the defined activities in close contact with Sales Dept;
guarantee the direct reports management throughout activities of feedbacks, coaching, training and management of the performance with the support of the HR Business Partner and the existing HR tools;
manage a close and collaborative relationship with Nutritional Global / Regional Teams in order to align and implement the Global / Regional strategies, with local adaptation and actively contribute to Global / Regional Projects / activities / innovation on the assigned Portfolio;
Develop and track for the Nutritional Category 3-5 years of marketing plans :
by defining during the Budget and Brand Planning sessions objectives, strategies and actions, all the key performance indicators on sell-in and sell-out, the communication and activation strategy;
by properly managing during the year the brand P&L and the investments;
by measuring and tracking the objectives and activities defined while guaranteeing the implementation of possible corrective actions when and if needed;
by being accurate in the sales forecast (sell-in and sell-out) on a yearly and monthly base.
WHO YOU ARE
At least 5-7 years of Marketing experience in Category / Brand Management roles.
University Degree in Economics or equivalent.
FMCG mindset in terms of innovation with an ecosystem approach (beyond products), multi-channel management (Pharmacies, Networks, Mass- market and e-commerce) and being time to market and smart&agile in generating new initiatives.
Efficient P&L management of the overall franchise and optimization of the allocated resources.
Management of resources experience.
Italian mother tongue and fluent in English.
Sales / Trade experience will be considered a plus.
Strong strategic mindset, courage, driving results, cultivating innovation, manages ambiguity competencies.
