In this context, Biogen is looking for a : ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR BIOSIMILARS MARKET ACCESSMain responsibilitiesThe Associate Director Market Access develops and executes market access strategies and modeling to achieve favorable pricing and reimbursement for new products and new product indications, ensuring alignment with local country and EU+ objectives.

He is responsible for patients’ access to BIIB’s biosimilars current and future products in Italy. For this purpose, key relationships are fostered with decision makers and influencers (persons, organizations) in this process.

These are Regional stakeholders (Head of Regional Pharmaceutical and Financial departments, regional HTA providers, procurement agencies), board of directors / department heads of public and private hospitals, insurance companies.

Main Responsibilities : Securing optimal pricing (incl. approvals and reimbursement) and representation in treatment guidelines for marketed and new products.

Anticipating and influencing the policy making process, both on a regional and hospital level. This implies that funding issues around BIIB biosimilar products in hospitals are also in scope, however in close cooperation with the KAMsCountry Leads, and when needed only.

Managing all steps of pricing and reimbursement planning, execution and negotiation.Developing strategic business plan for stakeholders in order to build and maintain strong and professional partnerships with Regional stakeholders (Head of Regional Pharmaceutical and Financial departments, regional HTA providers, procurement agencies), board of directors / department heads of public and private hospitals.

Coordinating with Affiliate Market Access team to ensure alignment of local and EU+ objectivesAchieving our objectives through personal interactions with hospital groups and pharmacies on cooperative sales contracts.

Anticipating and managing future dynamics impacting market access and reimbursement.Candidate profileLong-term biotech / pharmaceutical experience in a Market Access and / or Pricing & Reimbursement related role.

Provenance from Biosimilars and Medical Devices market or Market Access Consulting firms is preferred.Strong Influence / Persuasion / Negotiation skills.

Excellent communication / Interpersonal skills.Strong commercial attitude.Proven leadership ability.Strong business acumen.
