MISSION

Responsible for all the forcasting activities related to the assigned category and aimed at all the stores of the Italian network and at the e-commerce channel.

Developing and maintaining forcasting models, incorporate all the relevant business inputs coming from functions such ad Offer, Marketing and Finance.

Provide the necessary input to the Supply Planning area to prepare the replenishment plan for the central warehouse and for the stores, in compliance with the sahred objectives of service, coverage and stock value.

Support the business by guaranteeing the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time and place.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare data : cleanse sales, check trends, set up short and long term seasonality

Produce baseline sales forecast at category / channel level

Integrate baseline forecast with suitable uplifts based on the company’s commercial plan

Check stores allocation, adapt weights and coverage parameters

Follow up short term forecast and adjust when necessary, analyze and fine tune store’s replenishment parameters

Manage new product introductions and One shots allocation

Manage item’s end-of-life phase to minimize residual inventory

Prepare the consensus meeting with Offer / Marketing / E-com teams, to share and validate the forecast with the right inputs and insights.

Secure steady flow of communication with Offer, Marketing, Finance and Sales

Interact with Supply Planning team to help the sales forecast being translated into the best replenishment plan according with the main service and inventory targets

Monitor KPIs : On shelf availability, Forecast accuracy, Days of Inventory, stock obsolescence

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Great knowledge in analyzing, forcasting and managind demand (Retail field is a plus)

Strong analytical skills into a problem solving and proactive attitude

Good knowledge of forcasting tools and entrepreneurial spirit to new projects

Good relational skills to receive inputs from different teams

English is a must, French is a plus
