Plant Manager opportunity within beauty care industry
About Our Client
Our client is an Italian company leader in the beauty care industry.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the new manager will play a key role in the future development of the company, which aims to increase business both locally and internationally.
The Plant Manager will be in charge of the main following activities :
Work together with the General Management to achieve business development's goals and industrial performance targets;
Monitor plant performances in relation to the assigned KPIs and manage the budget relating to the plant's operating costs;
Supervise and coordinate all the staff in the main functions of the plant : production and production planning, logistics, maintenance, safety & environment, quality control;
Contribute to industrial investment choices and define / implement production processes in order to maximise efficiency, guaranteeing delivery times and stock management, in compliance with defined quality and safety standards;
Supervise production planning, ensuring the best cycles' structuring, with strong focus on the improvement and consolidation of time and method activities, in order to promote a continuous improvement's corporate culture;
Pursue production optimisation objectives, coordinating with the technical staff and sales department, with particular attention to production planning and the orders' timing;
Identify critical areas in order to reorganise, improve and innovate process in the perspective of continuous improvement, applying lean manufacturing's principles where possible.
The Successful Applicant
Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent culture;
Solid experience in managerial roles heading industrial plants, preferably in the beauty, chemical or pharmaceutical fields;
Familiarity with the semi-solid or high viscosity products' production dynamics;
Excellent knowledge of production planning and organisation tools, and lean manufacturing principles;
Analytical skills, leadership, innovative mindset and continuous improvement approach;
Excellent communication and relationship skills;
Fluency in English and Italian is required.
