Support in pitching and origination activities, including the preparation of business development pitches (sector and market updates, preliminary company information, offer structure, demand analysis, databases maintenance);
Compile target lists in relation to prospective clients from business directories, as well as other sources, identifying potential new clients, based on their suitability to meet our minimum client criteria (i.
e. Asset volume, issuance levels, Chinese focus) ;
Cold calling to uncover qualified sales opportunities. Communicate with in a professional and effective manner and raise awareness and interest in Dagong services, transferring the opportunity to the respective Sales lead.
Follow-up and maintain contact with prospects that don't have an immediate need, but may become qualified opportunities in the future;
Ensure that all client responses are followed up in a timely manner within 24 hours and / or addressed to the relevant Sales Lead, as appropriate;
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, following a strong team spirit, positive and proactive attitude. Provide feedback (prospect needs, industry trends, market perceptions, competitive intelligence, etc.
in the assigned markets;
Fulfill, in a timely manner, required team responsibilities such as CRM / Call reporting, expense reports, conference calls and meetings;
Constantly improve knowledge of the investment market, CRAs, and relevant legislations;
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
University degree or above, with a background in finance preferred
Entrepreneurial style and self-starter
Knowledge on debt capital markets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective sales, marketing, time and project management skills
Proficient in MS Office suite
Fluent in English. Mastering one of the following European languages is an advantage : German, Italian, French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
