An opportunity has arisen within a multinational feed additive business to become the National Sales Manager / Country Manager for Italy and grow the Italian market.

You will be responsible for growing existing accounts as well as really focusing on the development of the country as whole.
A leading player in the feed additive and premix market with products on a broad spectrum within this field. The company are driven by innovation with a strong R&D team focusing on the challenging and competitive environment of animal nutrition.
They cover multiple species including poultry, swine and ruminants. With a strong distributor network they are looking to add multiple people to their sales team including Italy to have technical solutions closer to the customer.
National Sales Manager / Country Manager - Italy (Home based - including travelling to customer sites)
Key Responsibilities :
Full responsibility for the growth and development of the Italian market.
The expansion of business within Italy working on the continuous improvement of customer relations and drive growth.
In cooperation with the sales and marketing you will be expected to contribute to the customisation of the products and services for your country.
Nurture and improve Key account relationships through building technical-commercial relationships at customer level, aligned with the purpose and goals of the (key) account team.
Develop an in depth understanding of key nutritional customer needs and support these needs in one species through creating and delivering distinctive nutritional value to the customer.
Higher Education or University degree / Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or equivalent through relevant industry experience.
Over 5 years demonstrated expertise and proven track record in animal nutrition industry either sales or technical background
Strong agricultural business acumen.
Demonstrated success in value-based sales
Strong interpersonal relationship-building and influencing skills
Self-starter, but team player
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Effective communication skills both written and verbal in Italian and English
Willingness to travel internationally
