    The candidate will integrate, as Assistant Project Manager, the Driveline Control team in IVECO Electronic department. The candidate shall act on interfacing with the Product Development Engineering, Product Validation and external Suppliers / Partners for collecting, validating and fixing all the requirements concerning the electronic systems.

    He shall ensure an efficient and effective integration of all the Driveline Control systems in the electronic architectures on Light, Medium and Heavy Trucks, supporting the Driveline Control Manager in achieving the results.


  • Support the Driveline Control Manager with the delivery of complex projects affecting the Body Builder interface components and the Transmission Control systems
  • Provide technical solutions that meet the requirements of internal and external clients
  • Work to support the integration of Body Builder interface components and the Transmission Control systems in all Truck vehicle platforms
  • Work actively in the system design process, from the specification up to the final validation and delivery
  • Support and encourage the team members to devise technical solutions that meet the requirements of clients
  • Review progress of projects and provides frequent team progress updates to stakeholders, keeping project planning aligned with the vehicle milestones
  • Assist with the management / reporting requirements and the delivery of the project to the required standard, on time and within budget
  • Provide support to Quality department for problem solving of on-field reported claims (Quality Control)
  • Incorporate the engineering safety standards, methodologies and global product development processes into all aspects of project development
  • Work with clients and suppliers with a diverse range of objectives in the definition of a successful project
  • Propose innovations, creates invention disclosures, critiques and advocates proposals for others, propose and develop new design concepts and IP, which will advance CNHi product / systems.
  • Work cohesively as part of Vehicle Control Area development team in Electronics department, collaborating with all the other Manager and Team Leader with the goal of maximizing quality and delivering on schedule

  • The Assistant Project Manager, in the Driveline Control team, could direct impact on the vehicle program. Without a constant commitment in respecting project milestones, deadlines and deliverables it might cause a delay in the vehicle program, customers’ dissatisfaction and budget overspending.
  • The Assistant Project Manager, in the Driveline Control team, could direct impact on the required system and vehicle performances causing loss of market positions.
  • The Assistant Project Manager, in the Driveline Control team, could direct impact on Body Builders applications and Market rate.
  • Without a constant commitment in designing and proposing updated functionalities, in agreement with the customer needs, it might cause customers’ dissatisfaction and loss of market positions

  • Driveline Control Manager : information exchange to favor a complete knowhow transfer and the reporting of the projects evolution and criticality
  • Driveline Control Team members : information exchange about the projects evolution by constant technical follow up, effort estimation and budget update, problem solving and risk evaluation
  • Customer / field support team : information exchange concerning needs, technical solutions and troubleshooting support
  • Other Electronic Design team members : electrical / electronic architecture review; sharing of project planning, requirement specification, vehicle integration constraints, technical documentation, testing reports, open point list, self-
  • qualification documentation, System FMEA

  • Product Validation test / validation engineers : sharing of project planning, validation plans, open point list and software delivery plan; support in problem solving.
  • Electronic Chief Engineer and Project Responsible : sharing of vehicle milestones, project planning, product specification, project progress updates
  • Suppliers / Partners design engineers : Change Request containing requirement specification and design details, self-qualification documentation, delivery plans and target cost besides frequent discussion concerning projects evolution, planning and criticality, quality issues and open points list such as any technical details about the products design and integration
  • Product Development Engineering teams : electrical / electronic architecture review; sharing of validation plans, vehicle integration constraints, open point list, technical documentation
  • EOL / Diagnostic Tools and Services team : sharing of project planning emphasizing milestones, deadlines and deliverables, diagnostic requirements, technical documentation, software delivery plans, troubleshooting support

  • MS / BS Degree in Engineering with emphasis in Electronic and / or Mechanical disciplines (with preference for Automotive Engineering) or equivalent work experience in a similar position (5-10 years of experience)
  • Project management experience in complex settings
  • Proven ability of successful project delivery and technical knowledge of Transmission principles, Automatic Control Systems, Design FMEA, Functional Safety ISO26262, besides CAN communication, SAE J1939 protocol, ISO 14229 - UDS diagnostic protocol
  • Communication skills to cooperate with technical / management partners inside the company and of other agencies / companies, with particular reference to external customers
  • Remarkable aptitudes for leadership and team-working; drive and commitment to meet the goals
  • Proficiency in design analysis and proven experience in Electronic systems design and integration
  • Qualification in Project Management and knowledge of AGILE-Scrum are surely welcome
  • Language : English advanced level and Italian
