The local Training Coordinator contributes to the Continuous Improvement of the site performance by ensuring the coordination of the overall aspects around change management capabilities and the location specific training and education needs and support the internal Plant Communication.

Principal mission is to aggregate all of these formation requirements in an annual training program, which comprises all mandatory / regulatory compliance formation as well as the expected educational packages to enhance functional development (e.

g. Continuous Improvement) within all layers of the organization. The job holder will setup and run the Learning Management System (LMS) at local level ensuring alignment with central / global requirements and following the mandate of the local site management.

Principal Accountabilities 50% Training & Education

  • Identify legal and technical training requirements;
  • Prepare / update training matrix and link them to job description;
  • Provide active to support to Education Annual Plan fulfilment & Training Matrix and establish adequate monitoring and reporting tools to management;
  • Recording, maintenance and update of training data, including management of periodical remainders;
  • Organization of the training on site, liaising with employees, internal and external providers;
  • Ensure the setup and actualization of an evaluation system to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of the training packages;
  • Responsible to evaluate and select external training vendors based upon Cargill specific wants and needs;
  • Responsible to develop several training concepts that fit the need of the internal customers. (E-learning, hands-on learning, comprehension testing)
  • Responsible to extract and configure a yearly training plan that will meet both the Cargill and legal minimum requirements.
  • 30% LMS Management and Functionality Support

  • Responsible to implement and maintain Nourishing U in the location;
  • Manage the life cycle of information and training materials within the systems;
  • Responsible for the adequate administration of training records;
  • Provide support in audits and verification both from internal and external requirements, providing original documentation.
  • 20% Communication Support

  • Support the communication internal plan of the location according management guidelines;
  • Support on the internal communication tools and programs (newsletters, Screen, etc.)
  • Participate in the external knowledge network (schools, education centers, experts, institutes)
  • Qualifications

  • BS in technical discipline, a social discipline, Human Resources or Education
  • 2-3 years’ experience in either a customer related function, a learning and development related function or a social function
  • Experience with different training methods and educational tools
  • Experienced in direct or influential management of teams
