PURPOSE
To manage the product specifications and packaging in line with the agreed product strategies and priorities, cooperating with the local countries of the assigned geographical area.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposes any product launch and line extension in the assigned countries, taking in consideration the Power Brands and Strategic Cells reports
Guarantees the approved Unique Selling Propositions and the Business Value Proposition of the assigned products are correctly deployed in every communication stream (Digital, packaging, local material )
Analyses the consumer and retail trends received from the local Category Management Dept. (market trends, competitors, consumers ) to feed the product innovation plans.
Supports the local Category Managers of the assigned countries about category insights in order to draft Trade Stories for clients.
Analyses the consumer complaints reports and liaises with local Category Management Dept & local Product Office Dept in order to monitor the corrective actions aimed at matching the quality standards
Liaises with the Group operating Process Dept to organise the agreed product trials and analises the results in order to submit a final proposition to the Line Manager & Marketing & Sales Director Brand.
Manages the packaging creation of the assigned products with the Graphic Designer and packaging agencies, under the lead of the Line Manager
Liaises with the local Category Management Dept to adapt the on-packaging communication to the local standards and laws.
Supports the Line Manager to build and deploy the Brand books.
Drafts the annual Marketing plan of the assigned countries, in collaboration with the Line Manager and the Marketing & Sales Director.
Supports the local Category Management Dept implementing the agreed consumer marketing strategies and action plans
Facilitates the implementation of the editorial Plans in the assigned countries , curing the relationship between the Digital Marketing & Sales department and the local Marketing & Sales Dept
Controls the orders and invoices of packaging agencies
Raises the Purchase Order and manages the administration flow of the media investments made in the assigned countries
Promotes a safety-bound corporate culture
Applies the Corporate Principles and Values
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
Master’s Degree in business
Minimum 3 year experience of proven experience in Marketing FMCG with Product Development responsibility
Excellent knowledge of Nielsen / IRI data and Consumer Panel
Microsoft Office skills (excellent knowledge of Excel / Power Point)
Analytical mindset
Independent, with drive and enthusiasm. Proven ability to own and drive projects forward
Exceptional interpersonal skills and expertise in working closely with senior leaders in the company
Fluent in English
