About the Role :
Competence Center Specialist is responsible for the full management of all external resources assigned to the central GAM PP group.
At the same time, has in charge the monitor, support and consolidation of external services (HD first level, AMS second level support) and follows the correct execution of IT procedures by all consultants under his direct responsibility.
He / She guarantees the constant and continuous update of technologies under his / her area of responsibility : is the central reference for the engineering and architecture of IT solutions to manage all the processes in scope of production planning module in SAP.
The position also acts as focal point of the company at group level for the technical expertise of the area.
Collaborate proactively with IT Business Partner, GAM architects, other GAM specialists, local GAMs, Key-users and end users.
Collection of new requirements and translate them in effective and efficient IT solutions.
Develop a good networking with ITBP, PMO local GAMs, key-users and SME in order to find a correct balance between their needs and IT context.
Manage and follow the implementation of IT improvement requests inside the area of responsibility, ensuring the full result by :
Proactive Coordination inside module and with other involved GAMs and external partners
Analyze IRs, validate or do estimation and check IR consistency with key user and other GAMs
2-weekly alignment with ITBP about the IR Status, prepare information for ITBP support decisional step by ITBP
Update Local IT about the IR in case of delays or changes of concept
Monitor and control activities progress
Respect IT methodology and standard of quality required
Check team respect of budget costs for Improvements requests
Validate team and AMS solutions for improvements or problems
Support the architect in IT project implementations in order to guarantee the coherence of IT template.
Support PM in managing PP resource staffed to the project
Monitor activities status
Ensure that qualitative standards and methodology are respected
Propose solutions in case of GAPs in order to satisfy global needs and not only local needs.
Support the PM and GAM manager in Request for Proposals and vendor evaluation
Control and monitor external services activity, in order to provide and efficient service to the business :
Periodic SAL with AMS to check ticket status, response time, quality of solutions provided
Validate AMS solutions / concepts for problems and issues
Apply and optimize procedures for first and second level support
Technical degree (3 years degree minimum)
Experience in SAP PP or PP-PI module (PP-PI preferred)
Experience of 5 years in Industrial area
Knowledge of basic ABAP development and technical SAP features
Experience in Sap4Hana environment is appreciated
Experience in international companies with central HQ / Service company
Experience in IT central environment context
Experience in managing autonomously activities
Good people management skill and experience in team management
Good English language (verbal and written)
