We research for our Electrification business Line based in Dalmine a Tender & Quotation specialist who will create and complete bids / estimations / quotations based on customer specification or
customer requirements / budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the Company with reference to Low Voltage switchgear and Medium Voltage Air Isolated switchgear Products Groups.
Bids / estimates / quotations, taking into account best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation;
ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
Manage the preparation of all technical (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.
g. total cost sheet) aspects of the bid / estimate / quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions;
Regularly follow up the offers with local Sales Unit and report the status of the bids / estimates / quotations using defined tools and collects and analyses the reasons for tenders being lost and won.
Identify potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers / channels;
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs; ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process;
provide any necessary technical support to Sales Units during technical meetings with customers.
High School Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electrotechnical area;
2 / 3 years’ experience in Tendering, Marketing, Sales & Offering processes;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work in Team with a strong attitude in technically learning and understanding the processes autonomously;
Availability to travel for technical alignments in case of strategic bids;
A good knowledge of English language, written and spoken.
