Job Description

What we can offer you! - Your Role:

For our Distribution Center (DC) in Cadorago (I), we are looking for our new Operations Coordinator.

In this position, you will lead our 3 team leaders with each of their 10 operators in three different shifts on the shopfloor. As well you handle our resources allocated to ensure that our products are manufactured and shipped on time regarding time, safety, and quality standards plus internal regulations and laws (including Negotiable Commerce and Tertiary) in employment. You will directly report to our DC Manager.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • You support and ensure implementation of Distribution Center Network and Local Strategy in term of safety, quality, service, cost, productivity and people.
  • You optimize the use of human resources assigned, depending on the workload and instructions received.
  • You ensure the direct use of the slitting machines, packaging lines, including forklifts and auxiliary equipment, making the production schedule received within the standards of quality and productivity assigned.
  • You are responsible to maintain standards of safety, hygiene and cleaning of the work spaces and you are the coach and support to our team leaders on your day to day job.
  • You verify the execution of quality controls, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with the working procedures (SOP).

  • Qualifications

    What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

  • Degree in Engineering with a strong preference for specialization in Lean Manufacturing
  • Previous work experience of 2+ years in an international manufacturing environment with team management experience is helpful
  • Good knowledge of planning and project management is welcome
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English both spoken and written
  • Perform well in any situation and be responsible for a number of key tasks at a time
  • High degree of accuracy, good time-management and priority setting skills are important
  • Strong cultural empathy and team-player, relationship-building attitude to operate in complex multinational organization
