Main tasks

Analysis of sensors documents and derivation of the simulation functional requirements;

Definition of the system architecture and sensor software;

Prototyping of sensor models (Matlab);

Software development of sensor models (C ANSI standard) and knowledge of real-time paradigms;

Identification of sensor sub-systems and components, with associated functionalities and interfaces, using high-level modeling languages and advanced design methodologies;

Integration and testing of the simulator, also in sites other than Ronchi dei Legionari, in Italy and abroad;

Preparation of technical specifications and documentation, mostly in English;

Preparation of test specifications, validation and acceptance, mostly in English;

Management of documentation and software configuration;

Desired Skills and Experience :

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace

Good knowledge of C language

Knowledge of Matlab would be a plus

Previous professional experience in Aerospace and Defence sector would be a strong plus.

Other Requirements :

Team worker, yet also accustomed to working independently, on challenging and diversified activities, capable to work in a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects.

Problem solving attitude.

Good communication skills.

Ability to manage conflicts and to negotiate, both with colleagues and with clients.

Pro-active customer focused approach.

Good knowledge of both spoken and written technical English
