For our site in Altopascio (LU), we are looking for a Production Planner who will help us in daily production processes within a very important project for Italy.
On a weekly basis, use APO to realise optimised production plan covering Factory Demand (latest forecast, stock, production hours, raw material availability) for min of 16 weeks horizon
Attend weekly Planning meeting and create alignment with Operations
Drive priority decisions for capacity constraints / imbalances through proactive discussions with markets and operations to advise / prevent stock outs
Evaluate and adapt production plan in line with reality as required and discuss impacts with Operations / Markets
Collaborate with Demand Planning when forecasts look unrealistic or exceed capacity
Gather mid and long term information about market trends, production capacity e.g. holiday and project plans to provide information to / participate in S&OP reviews and complete the resulting actions
Evaluate production performance and improve KPI e.g. Schedule Adherence
Be a champion of continuous improvement by embedding PLEX tools and processes into the way of working e.g. mater data, safety stocks, EPQ
Provide information and contribute to PIPO activities, projects, create scenarios, long term plan, budget and CBN’s
Good mathematical capability with logical reasoning ability
Strong problem solving skills / continuous improvement mentality
Able to communicate effectively to / with all levels
Sound knowledge of supply chain is desirable
Strong decision making skills, can rationalise upsides / impacts to balance supply & demand
Can adapt between detailed and global views
Ability to multi-task
University Degree, ideally in Management Engineering or Economics
At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
SAP APO would be advantageous
English and Italian fluency
