Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B) is seeking a Solution Consultant who will be responsible for pre-sales technical assistance for the sales teams.
This individual will perform technical presentations and demonstrations of our Commerce Cloud platform. The Solution Consultant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and be able to identify all the technical and business issues to sales prospects to assure complete customer satisfaction.

Position Overview :
To be based out of our Milan office, as a Solution Engineer, you will be providing technical product expertise, responding to RFIs, RFPs, designing a custom solutions to showcasing B2B Commerce’s enterprise-
class SaaS product for e-commerce. This role is integral to providing pre-sales support while partnering with the Sales team.
The ideal Solution Engineer has a broad IT background and is proficient demonstrating all aspects of software features and functionality to all levels in an organization, especially the C level.
With a strong blend of product sales and technical skills, the Solution Engineer uses a consultative approach to understand business and technical requirements and articulate the strategies for a B2B Commerce Solution.
Your Responsibilities :
To develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
Understand and communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
Provide industry expertise and guidance to clients
Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other high performing teams.
To fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of Salesforce B2B Commerce (Deep Product Knowledge) to customers at all levels, examples include;
Administration / IT Staff, managers and "C" level executives across all departments.
Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutions while supporting relationships with customers and partners.
Author and provide presentations both to executive-level and working-level client audiences
Display initiative, self motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations for both internal and external customers.
Manage and lead Customer workshops for B2B Commerce
Recognised SME in country
Present B2B Commerce at customers events Webinars e.g. Worldtour, Dreamforce.
Assist account executives in development of proposals and RFI / RFP responses
Strong professional experience in enterprise software (SaaS experience preferred) - 3+ Years
Batchelors degree in Computer Science or related field, MBA or Masters a plus
Knowledge of e-Commerce (preferred), Cloud Computing, and Software as a Service (SaaS) industry trends
Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translating / presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers.
Able to demonstrate and articulate solutions to clients to provide compelling value proposition in both English and Italian
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills in English and Italian are a must have
Proven track record in giving sales-oriented presentations to executive-level audiences
Successful participation in sales cycles in a pre-sales / consulting role
SFDC Maintained Certification (ADM201, ADM211) - Preferred
Ability to manage multiple prospects and activities concurrently
Ability to work as part of team
Ability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours throughout the sales territory
Highly motivated, persuasive, and success driven personality with high attention to detail
