    Responsible for coordinating all activities within the Engineering department, related to product design, documentation development, reliability testing and analysis, and patenting

    Leading local platforms teams, managing the full product development lifecycle, including product briefing, conceptual crafting, patent assessment, product line development costing, prototyping, spec development


  • Manage engineering team responsible for Tractor products design to deliver world class features
  • Responsible for engineering product / project identification, planning, management & execution and new product introduction
  • Lead, supervise and review the work of project and design engineers to ensure the efficient and timely completion of specific project milestones within required budgetary guidelines
  • Interact with other Functions leaders (Manufacturing, Marketing, and Purchasing) and with Country Management for the identification of best programs and products to achieve business targets
  • Analyze with platform managers and cross functional team competitive landscape; current product enhancement projects; changing government regulations and other aspects
  • Interpret and extrapolate the impact on technology and product in the next 3 - 5 years; Guide development of and review Specific Project Range Plan developed by Platform Managers
  • Accountable for product features and releases by creating strategies for deployment and executing advanced engineering projects successfully
  • Monitor progress of homologation testing and certification of the product and liaise with relevant authorities for timely certification
  • Plan for development of testing facilities in line with volume and nature of products; Review product test plans developed by validation team
  • Provide inputs for improvement of costing models
  • Monitor achievement of cost targets by purchase team, provide support for negotiations of critical or high value parts
  • Manage organization continuous improvement or products and processes initiatives
  • Estimate the costs, resources, and time required for development projects and monitors the execution of multiple engineering teams to ensure program milestones are met
  • Responsible for the talent planning process to identify competency, knowledge, and skill set gaps and implement targeted programs to fill gaps
  • Actively engage employees in helping manage performance and development and create an environment that is conducive to productivity and individual growth

  • BS or Master’s Degree in Engineering. Preferred with emphasis in mechanical, and / or electrical disciplines or equivalent work experience
  • Familiar to search, read and understand Engineering Specification within CNHi company and / or ISO standards
  • Familiar with Problem Solving tools and Six Sigma methodology
  • Good English level, both written and spoken, is required
  • Available for international assignments

  • Proficiency in completion of multiple medium to large projects from conception to product release utilizing the Global Product Development Process.
  • Minimum 5 years of department management experience
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in product development
