Designs, develops and improves new and existing hardware and software for automotive embedded system controls with focus on Smart Latch projects
In agreement with the timing of the program (E-latch) and the area of assigned competence (Hardware / Software) :
Support the development of the HardWare and / or SoftWare Requirements Specifications.
Develops HardWare and / or SoftWare Design Specifications from the HardWare and / or SoftWare Requirements Specifications, ensuring the compliance of the first to the second.
Incorporates customer requirements, regulations and product specifications into the design of the designated products, ensuring compliance with Closures Software Development Process, operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturing feasibility parameters.
Develops and maintain electronic systems for controlling electro-mechanical actuators (E-Latch) according to the System, Hardware and / or Software Design Specifications
Check through calculations, simulations and laboratory tests the conformity of the design to the specifications.
Ensures correspondence between the customer requirements and the electronic design.
Supports the development of DFMEA, DVP and Engineering Specifications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Defines the production requirements of the electronic system for the centers of Manufacturing in charge of its implementation
Support the Design Review in accordance with the phases of the PEP, drafting documentation responsibility of Engineering.
Store all built documents and files pertaining to the project orderly and traceable on the SVN server
Support releases ensuring alignment between the interior designs and those of the client.
Support DV phases of the project
Ensures closure of TIR attributed to Engineering as scheduled by the system.
Participate or providing to the CFT the support required during the development and launch of the product.
Support the improvement and optimization of the manufacturing process.
Support Purchasing and Quality in the management of suppliers on the feasibility assessments of requests for derogation.
Support the Quality during process validation (PV) and closure of TIR.
Support for client interfacing aspects of design of the electronic system
Conoscenze e titoli di studio
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from an accredited University-
Knowledge of a side door latching system and all its applicable functions
Knowledge of low cost electrical back up systems and the strategies for its reliable maintenance
Preferred Software and / or Hardware development experience on E-latch projects.
Knowledge of general electronics, electronic digital systems based on microcontroller and electronic measurement equipment.
Deep understand hardware embedded environments such as Freescale, Renesas, Philips, Infineon, Microchip, Atmel, Etc. Preferred Freescale HCS12 family designing / construction experience.
Basic knowledge of the ISO26262 and experience in the application of the standard to a real project
Knowledge of development processes of electronic systems according to theV-Model
Basic knowledge of Process Areas defined by the Automotive Spice
Knowledge of SVN / CVS
Knowledge of standard schemes in use in automotive control units
Knowledge of CAD systems EE (Orcad Layout, Altium layout, ...)
Good knowledge and experience of programming language (C / C + +, Visual Basic, ...)
Knowledge of technologies relating to the communication bus used in automotive (LIN, CAN, ..)
Knowledge of procedures for the management of drawings / HW / SW both internal and customer.
Knowledge of : DFMEA, 8D, PROBLEM SOLVING, DOE.
Basic knowledge of PEP and thorough documentation of the procedures associated with the responsibility of Engineering.
Good command of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of the English language.
