Employment Term and Type : Regular, Full Time

Required Security Clearance : TS / SCI

Required Education : Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a credentialed counterintelligence special agent (College education cannot be used in lieu of experience)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shall assess and develop recommendations for current and future Signature Reduction (SR) requirements by conducting mission and SR requirements analysis
  • Shall support the daily management and oversight of the SR / OPSEC Program
  • Shall conduct and write an annual assessment of the SR / OPSEC Program (to include subordinate organizations) to ensure compliance with current DoD, Army and INSCOM policies
  • Shall support the maintenance, issuance, recovery, inventory, and turn-in of the SR / OPSEC Program items and assist subordinate organizations.
  • Shall write, staff, and track SR / OPSEC Program documents
  • Shall write, maintain, and instruct SR / OPSEC training courses based on operational requirements
  • Required Qualifications

  • ACTIVE TS / SCI clearance required
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis
  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses :
  • Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
  • Army 351L Course (or its predecessor)
  • Army - 35M Course (or its predecessor)
  • Army - 351M Course (or its predecessor)
  • Air Force Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor
  • Navy Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor
  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy / Activity (JCITA) or HUMINT Training Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) Courses :
  • JCITA Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Operations Course (AFCIOC) or predecessor
  • JCITA - Advanced Counterintelligence Collections Course (ACICC)
  • JCITA - Military Counterintelligence Collections Course (MCC)
  • JCITA - Counterintelligence Force Protection Source Operations Course (CFSO)
  • HT-JCOE - Source Operations Course (SOC)
  • HT-JCOE - Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC)
  • HT-JCOE Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC)
  • DIA Advanced Military Source Operations Course (AMSOC)
  • Other FTC, OTC, MOTC, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a credentialed counterintelligence special agent
  • College education cannot be used in lieu of experience
  • Must possess an understanding of counterintelligence (CI) or human intelligence (HUMINT) collection operations
  • Must have a strong understanding of CI Flags
  • Must possess an understanding of Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) Tactical Technical Procedures (TTPs)
  • Education Requirements :

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a credentialed counterintelligence special agent
  • College education cannot be used in lieu of experience
  • Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions :

  • Must be able to sit 90% of the time
  • Ability to grasp / pick up objects / reach for objects 100% of the time
  • Ability to speak / communicate with clients and colleagues 100% of the time
  • Listening / sight and use of hands to operate / activate / use / prepare / inspect - use of office equipment 100% of the time
  • Employee is not substantially exposed to adverse conditions (typical office or administrative environment)
