GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Mapp Digital is seeking a Trifecta of MadTech skills; Brand marketing, AdTech and MarTech. A tech-obsessed, digital-loving visionary who understands the goals, challenges and dreams of marketers as well as the marketing and advertising landscape.
This will be an internal and external expert on Mapp Digital’s software and services as well as the MadTech (MarTech + AdTech) space who wants to proliferate our success as far and wide as possible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Discover and link clients’ digital marketing challenges to business goals and win their trust in the sales process
Work with direct and channel partner sales teams to define sales opportunity strategy based on customer pain points, value creation potential & strategic priorities
Inspire and collaborate on compelling and client-relevant proposals that effectively articulate how & why Mapp’s solutions can meet and exceed client business goals
Deliver executive-level presentations as needed to form the basis for strategic technology decisions
Champion digital marketing experiences that showcase the company vision internally and externally (trainings, learning materials, thought leadership content, speaking engagements)
Maintain a mastery of Mapp products, capabilities, roadmaps and people to solve and simplify marketing problems
Act as an ambassador and mentor to account management, services teams and other client-facing contacts to who must apply the Mapp value proposition to customer business challenges
Maintain a leading vision for modern marketing and the competitive landscape, as well as a tactical perspective that can guide continuous client improvement
Develop new demonstration environments which elegantly apply Mapp technology to critical digital marketing problems
Identify innovation opportunities and bring field expertise into new products and features of the customer engagement platform
Develop initiatives required to achieve established revenue / product targets
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, computer science or engineering with a very good understanding of the associated technologies
3+ years’ experience in working for a Marketing Technology company
Previous experience supporting sales and customer success teams
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experince in Email, SMS, Mobile / Push marketing and DMP
Consultative, value-based sales skills
Ability to spot market opportunities and deliver go-to-market strategies needed to win them
Proven ability to define advertising and marketing software and service solutions
Ability to concurrently manage multiple account and sales engagements
Results-oriented, partner and customer-focused, collaborative, team player
Networking and relationship building
Excellent communication, presentation and customer interaction skills
