We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our E-Mobility business. The selected candidate will support the Product Manager to optimize the offering portfolio and return on investment.
You will ensure ABB has a full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and you will be able to transform these requirements into offering specifications and development activities.
You will perform various offering life cycle activities supporting development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability.

Marketing & Sales Manager
Follow and understand global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements and their impact on the offering portfolio.
Conduct valuations of market size and trends, conduct competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluate the ABB position.
Ensure that technical solutions can be used across the Product Group’s offering portfolio as far as is possible.
Manage the technical specification of product assigned and support the Product Manager in developing the business case for offering developments, maintenance and cost reduction.
Follow major warranty cases and quality cost drivers for assigned offering and ensure a resolution.
Collect and analyze standards, market requirements, customer needs and value as an input for producing a product roadmap.
From identified opportunities, support the Global Product Manager in creating the business case for development projects or offering transfers.
Prepare offering market communication materials, including support for new offering launches.
Clarify offering positioning within the portfolio with defined values per offering line to address different segment needs.
Keep Product Group, Sales and channels informed on topics related to the offering, such as new offering availability, market, competition, quality, configuration, trends and limitations.
Provide sales support, participate in customer meetings and attend trade shows on request. Support marketing programs.
An Engineering background.
One or two years of experience is a plus.
Experience in Product Management is a plus.
Available for business travels.
Able to perform market analysis and product placement.
