The successful candidate, reporting to the Global Service Spare Parts Manager, will define and develop the global pricing and inventory strategy within the assigned products in line with the Global Service Spare Parts Manager’s goals & guidelines.

He / She will work with the CoE and the Supply Chain Units to ensure we operate a profitable fast and efficient spare parts process from tendering to order delivery .

The person will also be responsible to ensure spare parts are delivered on-time and in-quality to the Field Service Organization.

Main tasks & key responsibilities

  • Understand service spare parts market tendencies and key customer requirements
  • Develop and drive long-term service spare parts offerings through the analysis of Customer needs within the assigned product
  • Ensure the standard spare parts offering is included in each new product sales offer to the end-Customer
  • Define spare parts global pricing policy based on historical data and value generated for customers
  • Prepare the business case for regional stocking strategies, if required
  • Communicate and promote the spare parts mission and scope to Service Managers, sales, purchasing and logistics departments
  • Effectively drive the change within the CoE and the Supply Chain Unit to ensure one consistent way of doing Spare Parts business
  • Define Spare Parts KPIs, including revenue and EBIT, in cooperation with the Global Service Spare Parts Manager and ensure they are met
  • According to KPIs, identify areas of improvement in the organization and assist in creating and implementing solutions, training and mentoring proper internal stakeholders and providing constructive feedbacks
  • Update the CRM SalesForce with new product reference, including global pricelist and standard delivery time
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure a fast and efficient process, monitoring the parts inventory and anticipating parts needs
  • Coordinate with the Field Service Organization the delivery of spare parts
  • Coordinate with Service Product Engineers to ensure accurate parts interpretation
  • Ensure the acknowledgement of the spare parts order through ERP system and the order processing within the Supply Chain Unit
  • Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent background required
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Change management experience in organizations in transition
  • Experience in negotiating international contracts
  • Worked in a multicultural environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
