Psychology of space, memory, and new technologies. The fixed-term researcher will be required to show skills in both theoretical analysis and experimental investigation regarding the design and set-up of quantitative studies in the field of spatial cognition and episodic memory.
In particular, the research program will aim at investigating the role of spatial reference frames (egocentric vs. allocentric) in the encoding, storing, and retrieval of objects, places, and people in the external environment.
To this aim, it is required to demonstrate skills in conducting experiments using both cognitive neuroscience methods and in advanced technology (virtual reality), also regarding the study of individual differences in both healthy individuals and clinical populations.
The researcher will be required to carry out research and teaching activity, also in English, in Milan, within the courses included in the scientific disciplinary field M-PSI / 01.
The researcher will have to carry out integrative teaching, assistance to students, and to take part to the institutional activities of the Faculty of Psychology.
