LivaNova’s headcount in the Saluggia plant includes more than 650 employees in the therapeutic area Cardiac Surgery (extracorporeal blood circulation systems, autologous blood transfusion systems as well as heart valve replacement and repair solutions,
Reporting directly to the Operations Director at the Saluggia Plant, the Planning, Procurement & Incoming Inspection Manager is responsible : to define the Production Plan following the Sales Demand;
to monitor Inventory Levels in order to reach the KPI targets; to define the procurement plans, issuing Purchase Orders and checking Suppliers Delivery Plan;
to coordinate Incoming Inspection activities in compliance with the Company Quality System.
He / she works transversally with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Production and Logistic Managers, Suppliers, Industrial Quality Assurance, Finance, in order to achieve KPI and to be aligned with middle and long-
term commercial strategy.
Main activities and responsibilities will be as follows :
PROVIDE the detailed and analytic production plans (annual, monthly and weekly) by product family and by item (weekly) according to the input coming from the Supply Chain;
MONITOR demand changes and meet the release plan (KPI Production to Schedule) and react if any major changes occur;
MONITOR inventory level for Raw material, SF / WIP and Finished Products in order to meet the agreed company Target at Site and consolidated level.
Cooperate in defining and fixing the Target;
INTERACT proactively with Marketing, Sales Customer Service and Supply Chain in order to formalize and pursue middle and long term strategies and Targets;
MANAGE phase-in and phase-out if any occur;
COORDINATE the Incoming Inspection and Procurement teams in both, technical and organizational aspects;
PROVIDE guidelines for Incoming Inspection activities in order to ensure regular delivery and full conformity to quality aspects and specifications;
PROVIDE guidelines for Procurement activities in order to ensure regular delivery and continuity to all operations department and product lines, fixing and respecting the agreed inventory Target for RM, WIP, FG;
DEFINE and IMPLEMENT continuous improvement initiatives, to deploy the Operational Excellence;
REPORT, regularly, to the Operations Director KPI results and the related actions plan to achieve the industrial targets.
The ideal candidate should have :
Economics or Engineering Degree;
At least 5 years of experience in logistics, material management and production management;
Good Knowledge of Planning and Production Management;
Expert knowledge of Budgeting and reporting (inventory, plans, cost center activities);
Expert knowledge of Finance and Controlling principles;
Expert in Analysis and synthesis;
Good at Team building and coaching;
Good at Public Speaking, negotiation and meeting management;
Expert in IT tools and systems (ERP, DRP, MRP, MPS, MS Office);
Fluency in English is mandatory.
