Sales Manager - Italy

We have an office in Gallarate, VA which is available for use however we are flexible with regards to location and are fully enabled for remote working.

Travel to customers situated primarily between Rome and Milan will be frequently necessary so proximity to good transport links is an advantage.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for leading the sale and growth of LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance data solutions of Motor Insurance providers in Italy.

You will grow revenues selling our new and innovative vehicle data solutions, , to insurers of private carsThese products will be used in the pricing, underwriting and claims workflows of motor insurers.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance is committed since XXXX to innovation in the global insurance sector and has repeatedly brought new products to market that have changed the way insurance pricing and underwriting is conducted.

In the last 10 years LexisNexis has successfully established new insurance data businesses outside its home market of the United States, in the United Kingdom, China and Brazil.

Minimal requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in X or Y
  • In which industry ? Big data, Software-as-a-product,
  • Strong track record and demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding revenue target
  • Fluent English and Italian language
  • The ability to quickly develop an in depth understanding of LexisNexis products and services and how they apply to the customer’s needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanour, business maturity, and IT-Technical knowledge
  • This position requires as much as 40-60% travel in Italy and may include overnight travel
  • Preferred requirements :

  • Experience of sales in Personal Lines Insurance, particularly of data for pricing and underwriting
  • Experience of sales of vehicle and connected car data , and / or of other new and innovative data products
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Fluent in German, French or Spanish language
