Job description

We are looking for a BU Operative Expenditure Buyer Intern for Electronics Business Unit in Venaria.

Operative Expenditure (OPEX) Buyer Intern will support the activities related to the Operative expensive procurement process by e-procurement platform.

Operating expenses are the costs that are not directly related to the production of a product. These expenses include i.

e. payroll, rent, office supplies, utilities, marketing, insurance, taxes,

He / She will

  • Interfacing and aligning with Key Stakeholders (Commodity Specialist, Plant Management, R&D, Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, ICT, Legal, Human Resources and General Services)
  • Optimizing costs, while ensuring quality and timing impacts
  • Ensuring the deployment of Opex Commodity strategy
  • Anticipating the specific requirements for new services (supplier solutions, geographical location and target costs)
  • Main responsibilities

  • Collaborate to manage the sourcing process and negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers services managed within Opex Perimeter, ensuring the achievement of objectives for his / her Function in accordance with the Company targets
  • Satisfy external and internal customer requirements and specifications
  • Participate in review of supplier technical proposal during technical review with Plant Key Stakeholders
  • Collaborate in supplier nomination (Purchase Order issue, agreement definition, emission and signature of Nomination Letter)
  • Collaborate to manage possible change requests
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules, Purchasing procedures and guidelines
  • Skills

  • Engineering Degree (Management, Electric, Electronics) or similar
  • Fluent in English
  • International experience (i.e. Erasmus program) would be appreciate
  • Basic knowledge of technical standard specifications related to the application field
  • Interest in Automotive field
  • Ability to work in distributed, multilingual and multicultural teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc).
  • Basic knowledge of market analysis
