What you will do

The Sales Training Manager will be in charge to create a Sales Academy for training and developing the sales team that consists of different programs, which together form a single competency framework for driving the sales professional’s efficiency and profitability.

The Sales academy includes a collection of learning tools like written material, instructor-led classroom training, digital learning tools, and coaching and also offers the benchmarking tools needed to achieve consistency in best business practices.

Work involves problem solving skills, working independently and exercising critical mind to accomplish most tasks.

How you will do it

  • Define sales skills and competencies to be successful accordingly to market, industry, sales and marketing strategic plan
  • Determines training requirements by having honest discussion with sales leaders and assessing existing sales professionals vs.

  • Talk to the sales professionals within the organization and determine where they believe they need to focus. The intent is to identify the skills that are lacking or underdeveloped so that the training in the sales academy offers relevance
  • Identify the final trainings pack that will be the pillar of the Sales Academy
  • Deliver sales training programs that support an effective and motivated sales force
  • Monitors and analyzes sales team performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training and design follow up or ongoing programs as needed.
  • Adapts and enhances quality & value in existing methods of day-to-day activities

  • Meets sales training financial objectives by forecasting sales training requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures;
  • analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

  • Develop resources through libraries, databases; building interactive and integrated support systems to manage the sales knowledge
  • Responsible for ensuring that all required sales training management information is available for both existing and new employees (Sales onboarding process).
  • Required

  • Proven work experience as a training manager, with a strong knowledge and understanding of different business models and sales process
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in in English and at least one other major European language (French-
  • preferred- or Spanish or German)

  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals,
  • Analytics & organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage multiple responsibilities at the same time
  • Preferred

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires business travel to all countries within European region
