Barilla G. & R. Fratelli S.p.A. is looking for a Global Consumer and Shopper engagement professional within the Group Marketing Team, based in Parma.
The individual will report to the Group Brand Activation and Consumer engagement Senior Manager.
The individual will manage Consumer and Shopper Engagement and will be the referent within the Global Marketing team.
As Center of Expertise for Consumer and Shopper Engagement the individual will be responsible for :
supporting the deployment of the Brand Communication Strategies for Global Brands through the definition of global engagement plans;
supporting the issuing of Promotional Guidelines (targeted both to Shoppers and Consumers) for Local Brands
developing the Identity of Branded Merchandise for main Brands both Global and Local.
Responsibilities for Consumer Engagement :
Definition of Consumer Engagement Global Guidelines, together with her / his head, to support business needs in particular with promotional plans and Loyalty Activites.
The Guidelines will show how to create a Promotion starting from the needs of the Market (brief), designing the activities and recommending the most suitable engagement platform.
For Local Brands, define activities in-line with the promo strategy, and support local Mktg with toolkits and best practices to address execution.
Contribute in building a CRM strategy compliant with Privacy rules and in line with digital strategies.
Build a strong relationship with Local Mktg (in the various Countries) and provide them guidelines to accomplish local business needs.
Create and feed a Repository that collects what is going on in the Markets. Analyze trends on Engagement activities in order to individuate new tools and concepts.
Collect case histories from the Local Mktg in order to facilitate the Best Practices's sharing among all the Countries.
Responsibilities in the development of Branded Merchandise :
Support the definition of Branded Merchandise catalogues for most important Global and Local Brands, designed to best embed Brands values.
Deal with creative Agencies for design definition; actively cooperate with the Purchasing Dept, and Vendor Assurance to guarantee legal and quality compliance.
Recommend the most suitable choice for local in-store / value Consumer Promotions (i.e. branded prizes for contest, loyalty programs ).
Support the creation of win-win partnership with other famous Brands and Designers to leverage on well-known product features in order to scout more and more attractive prizes over time.
MSc degree in Business A or related is required
5+ years of Brand Management experience, with proved experience in Promotion management; experience in an Agency specialized in promotion is preferred.
Deep-rooted digital knowledge and experience
Project management skills and ability to work under pressure
Ability to collaborate with others and work in a cross-functional team and multi-cultural environment
Ability to work both with long and short-term perspective, mixing strategic thinking with day-by-day execution
Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and initiative

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
English fluency, spoken and written, is mandatory.
