We are looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer who will join our experienced Pre-Sales team in Castel Guelfo ( Bologna ).

As Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing the EMEA AC Power Sales Organization (MU Teams, International Business Partners) with a reactiveand pro-

active technical informative support, with the goal of driving the competiveness of AC Power portfolio and satisfying all the technical queries coming from Customers.

You will be responsible of following the evolution of selected commercial opportunities in full coordination with the Sales Teams, providing also quotation of customised solutions that you will prepare cooperating with the COE Application Engineering Team and R&D, as deemed necessary.

We will empower you to execute your role in a consultative style, e.g. by building a direct relationship with Customers and End Users (for selected opportunities), either remotely and in person. Your responsibilities :

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for the EMEA Sales Organization (relevant for AC Power COE) : MU Sales Teams, International Business Partners and Central Sales Teams (such as the Key Account Managers and the Bid Management Team)
  • Provide reactive and pro-active technical informative support, remotely and in-person in full coordination with the Sales Organization
  • Act in coordination with the Supply Chain and Production Teams for specific Customer requests which impact the production planning
  • Prepare non-standard technical documentation necessary for selected opportunities, including but not limited to electrical schematic drawings, functional drawings, technical descriptions, layout and feasibility studies etc.
  • Cooperate with the Bid Management Team supporting them with technical conformity analysis to specifications where non-
  • standard or complex requirements are present

  • On-site auditing (on request) for technical feasibility evaluation for complex applications
  • Requirements : Education : Technical School diploma or BSc ( Triennale ) in Engineering (electrics or electronics). MSc ( Magistrale ) in Engineering is a plus.

    Experience : - At least 3 years of experience in electronic and / or electrical companies and / or engineering companies with experience in pre-

    sales, sales and post-sales field or in industrialization / R&D on in application engineering- Have knowledge of CAD software Other competencies : -

    Customer oriented attitude, solid communication and relational skills- Disciplined, analytical and problem solving attitude-
