Reporting to theCommercial and Business Development Vice President of NEXTCHEM, the candidatewill co-ordinate the Commercial and Business Development activities associatedwith the initiatives in the Greening the Brown Business Area.

In this role she / he will be the key team player to manage the process, in order to support the salesactivities of NEXTCHEM.

All of this work occursin the context of an active environment, with several initiative in differentstates of delivery, so the position will also have a direct connection withrevenue generating activities, exposure to third party environments (Licensees,Third-

party engineering companies, potential M&A, Partnership, suppliers ),and opportunities to travel throughout the world.

The candidate will bethe single point of accountability for the delivery of the project to theclient and for ensuring the compliance with the term and conditions stipulatedin the Contract.

In addition to theabove, the candidate will support the development of the initiatives portfolioof NEXTCHEM by actively scooting the market.

In particular, in cooperation withthe MAIRE TECNIMONT M&A department and the NEXTCHEM Technology Department,the canditate will perform intelligence about potential technology acquisitionand / or third parties cooperation / partnership or implementation of Production JVby developing the relevant business cases.

Key Activities & Responsibilities :

  • in accordance with Business Plan, identify potential Targets of Cooperation for Production and Licensing Opportunities;
  • for the technology in our portfolio, identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business;
  • for Operating Plants controlled by NEXTCHEM, identify new clients and implement new business;
  • develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing relationships;
  • partner with Proposal Manager to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients;
  • negotiate contract terms with clients and / or Partners and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • Personal Attributes :

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Chemical Engineering;
  • extensive years ofexperience working in a similar Licensing environment added with in-depthknowledge. Affinity with the petrochemical process is required for adding theright value.
  • Doing business with other countries and parts of the world issomething you feel comfortable and familiar with;
  • strong communicator liaising with the different stakeholdersand technical and commercial drive to make us best in class.
  • Theability to be creative at new technical solutions or commercials compromisesare important assets to this role;
  • keen entrepreneurship, accurate, flexible with strong focus onservice for our customers, able to work with deadlines on results and teamspirit;
  • availabilty to travel.
