Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Industry Sales Teams manage sales to a specific industry, targeting customers with specialized knowledge regarding demand and future outlook of that sector.

Responsible for sales of products PLP Entrelec within a designated area (North East Italy) in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Manage and provide the requested support to the external agents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Main Accountabilities : 1. Volume and profit

1. Volume and profit

Sells products of PLP Entrelec to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned PLP

2. Customer relations

Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full products offering, and align to provide a solution.

Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

3. Sales plans

Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.

4. Sales

Creates added value for the customer and TE and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.

Communicates details in accordance with TE offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).

5. New market opportunities

Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

6. Administration

Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed.

7. Offer preparation

Prepares offers in coordination with the pricing department. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Qualifications :

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build
  • strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions

    inside and outside of TE)

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Clear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
  • Ability to work toward targets
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with
  • business plans

  • Availability to travel (50% of the time)
