In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop your technical and soft skills within a multidisciplinary community developing consumer products aiming to improve people lives by providing them meaningful innovations and state of the art solutions.

You are responsible to

Develop the work with focus on consumer needs and technological competitiveness, and keep this outside-in approach in mind for designs he / she creates

Develop high level and detailed designs in accordance with the product requirements and Philips reference architecture requirements;

understand and communicate consequences of the design on the architecture

Combine existing and / or purchased elements and parts into (elements of) products, systems and / or solutions

Finalize the design specifications, schematics, drawings, codes and writes test scenarios’ for the developed modules or components

Ensure that documentation takes place according to the provided templates from the I2M processes

Draw up personal schedule and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way and is responsible for keeping the costs of the activities in line with the calculated budget

Deliver input in the planning process to the project leader

The position is based in Gaggio Montano (BO)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Master’s of Science or related technical degree, or equivalent (i.e. electrical, electronics, mechatronic, software)

1+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering. Background in automotive or consumer product development sector would be a plus.

Background in system engineering and specific competences in embedded system design and system integration. Experience in power electronics, PCBA design / manufacturing, electromagnetic compatibility, system automation and control, DfSS will be a plus

Customer Focus , Tech Savvy, Innovation mindset and situational adaptability

Fluent in English and Italian
