The role is requiring sales, technical and business skills needed to interact with purchasing as well as health and safety engineers to promote our protective apparel, thermal and mechanical industrial solutions.
EMEA Cut / Mechanical Protection Commercial Value Chain Sales Manager :
Direct account management of Cut / Mechanical protection spinners / felters across EMEA as well as weavers / knitters requiring strong customer relationship management skills.
Implementation of business and price strategies to achieve business results for assigned customers.
Development of commercial support strategies for projects / tenders via
Market / competitive information obtained from field sales colleagues and value chain (weavers, garment manufacturers).
Close cooperation with Marketing and Product Management.
Value chain management inline with
Marketing inputs for strategic partners / alliances.
Driving improvement of the product and service offering by the value chain to the end user.
Sales representative DuPont Personal Protection Italy :
Development of relationships with our full value chain; garment manufacturers, distributors as well as key end user customers.
Development of new product applications in cooperation with end users and different actors of our value chain.
Development of plans to support growth of new products or applications in selected industry segments.
Strong cooperation with marketing, product management and technical teams.
Continuous market and competitive feedback to organization.
Promotion of our full DPP solutions at end user : chemical protection, controlled environment, mechanical protection and FR clothing.
Active participation in defining strategic road to the Italian market.
Active participation at fairs to promote existing portfolio and identify new market trends and development opportunities.
Organization and lead of sales and application seminars at selected customers and end users.
Employee is expected to work independently in co-ordination with the rest of the Italian DPP team and take strategic guidance from the direct supervisor.
Implementation of business and price strategies to achieve business results.
Location : Italy - home based (preferably in the North).
Mobility : up to 70%.
Strong commercial and / or technical background in personal protective equipment.
Ideally several years of experience in Chemical Protective - and / or FR clothing or Cut / Mechanical Protection industry or the related value chain.
Being at ease when dealing with people. Showing strong talent to negotiate, to influence and to listen carefully. Ability to communicate internally and externally with impact.

Languages : Italian mother tongue; fluent English is a must. Other languages would be advantageous.
