Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
Help a wide variety of customers in addressing food safety and general microbiological concerns.
Support Food Packaging R&D projects with technical expertise in the area of microbiology and food safety
Successfully lead and deliver innovation projects that add value for SEE and our customers
Serve as a food safety / microbiology subject matter expert
Interact with Sealed Air’s and customers’ Senior management
University degree in Food Technology / Science, Microbiology or related fields and at least 1 year of experience in Microbiology area.
Ability to work independently in a microbiology Laboratory environment, managing test such as : shelf life, ISO22196, challenge test.
Proficient in media preparation, culture plating methods and sterile technique.
Ability to manage time and activities to deliver to assigned goals
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Capability to develop and maintain bureaucratic documents needed by Italian Authorities, in collaboration with Passirana EH&S manager
Excellent written and oral presentation skills in Italian and English
Ability to think critically
Self-motivated and with good problem-solving ability
Familiarity with software tools such as Word, Excel, Power Point
Understanding of experimental design and research statistics is considered a plus
