Role Purpose

To provide support to the Markets Supervision team that is in charge to oversees, among others, the trading activity in all Borsa Italiana markets, monitors fair and orderly trading conditions and member firms’ compliance with rules and regulations.

Role Responsibilities

Supports senior team members in the monitoring of secondary market trading (real-time and ex-post surveillance activities).

The activities include, among other, markets intervention, assistance to member firms requests, activities related to the MIFID II regulatory tasks;

Prepares data and reports for internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy;

Co-operation with and assistance to other business units to product and market structure development;

Contribution to the surveillance and trading systems development including functional testing activities

Minimum Requirements

This is an Individual Contributor role

Degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualification in an economics discipline

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
